We LOVE the range of deadstock washed cotton caps, upcycled by SecondStories with their unique embroidered slogans. A great wardrobe addition that can be worn year round, all priced at £25 each. We can't get enough of the colour combo on 'Wear Your Greens' - it's going straight on our Christmas list!

2. ONE SCOOP GIFT CARD

Another favourite online preloved store of ours is One Scoop Store offering a curated range of secondhand pieces, from gorgeous Ganni accessories to one-off vintage items. They also offer Gift Cards starting at £25. You can browse the items they have in stock online or if you are local to North London, in their store in Stoke Newington.

For the men in your life, check out Domno Vintage. As well as selling uber-cool individual vintage pieces and jewellery their range of Vintage Outfit Mystery Boxes starting at £24.99 make the perfect Christmas gift. Think brands like Ralph Lauren, Nike and Champion effortlessly styled by their team of experts. If the recipient wants to swap any items they receive in their box for a different brand or style, Domno will happily exchange the item(s).

4. LUNA EDIT LOCKET

If you are looking for a personal gift this Christmas, pop over to the Luna Edit. They sell vintage jewellery specialising in personalised photograph lockets and all orders are packaged beautifully. You just need to contact Kelcie on Instagram @the.lunaedit to enquire about ordering.

5. STRENGTH AND STEAM WREATHS

Strength and Stem is a florist with a difference - they empower survivors of modern slavery through vocational floristry training, meaningful employment and so much more. If you are looking for a gift that gives back this year, look no further than their beautiful wreaths and wreath kits. Profits from all wreath sales go towards their floristry and skills training programmes for survivors of modern slavery. They also offer wreath workshops and giftcards but we're sold on their gorgeous half moon wreath.

6. THRIFTHOOD BOX OR GIFTCARD

For children up to age 4, we offer a range of Christmas gifts here at Thrifthood. Whether it's a pair of cool new kicks, 3 preloved pieces with our Mini Box (currently 25% off with the code MINI25) or a complete capsule wardrobe update with our Classic Box all orders are personalised to your recipient and gift wrapped. Not sure what style to pick? Why not buy a Thrifthood eGift card and give the gift of sustainability this year.

7. BEDIDDY VINTAGE

For children 4 years and older, there are lots of great preloved and vintage sellers around. In addition to a great range of vintage clothing, BeDiddy also sell an excellent selection of accessories and lifestyle pieces.

8. ADOPT A SOFT TOY FROM LOVED BEFORE

If it's soft toys you are after, you must check out Loved Before. You can browse the adorable selection of preloved soft toys they have available online, with new additions weekly, or you can browse in store at Selfridges in Birmingham or Manchester. Each teddy is lovingly restored, packaged beautifully (we bought a gorgeous penguin from their pop up in London last year) with their own story - what's not to love?!

9. PRELOVED PHOTOFRAME

If you love the personal touch why not print your favourite photograph and find a preloved frame? Check out your local charity shops, vintage shops or online marketplaces and you will find frames aplenty. If you are new to gifting secondhand, why not start with shopping items that are new with tags? We've included some of our fave finds online below.

10. GIFT A NEW EXPERIENCE

If like us you love that Christmas is an excuse to book an experience for the New Year, why not see what sustainable workshops are local to you? We are determined to secure a place at one of Lydia Bolton's scrunchies and bow workshops, upcycling secondhand textiles into gorgeous accessories you will wear again and again.

Sken Studios in Manchester are running one of their signet ring making workshops on 10 February 2024, where you can spend the afternoon designing and creating an entirely unique ring in recycled silver - stunnin'!
